Chinese Medicine has been a really good friend to me
In the 90’s I was living in Texas in the U.S and working for a computer company, on a survival game called “Dare Bluff or Die”. It featured people from various countries who had immigrated to the United States and the ways they made a new life there.
I became really interested in the Chinese strategies for health, and the traditions they brought with them of medicine, diet and exercise.
When I suffered painful cramping in the knees I went to an acupuncture clinic in Texas and was so pleased with the results that I signed up for the school there.
This is one of the reasons I like to specialise in joint pain treatment.
Personally, I have a great interest and will to improve people’s quality of life
by reducing the daily pains or aches that can drag us down. I can honestly say that I’ve rarely not been able to help people who’ve come in with joint pain of some kind.
I also find it extremely rewarding to help people with the emotional struggles of life too.
As world famous teacher and Author Giovanni Maciocia said “ The greatest strength of Chinese Medicine does not lie in its theories but in the placing of the patient at the centre of the clinical experience.”
Acupuncture helps reactivate the natural self-healing ability you were born with. You can discuss a plan of treatment that is suitable for you. As Giovanni Macchiochia said Traditional Chinese Medicine is about not about disease it’s about health-all aspects: diet, exercise, emotions and spirit etc. TCM is excellent as a preventative.
